Once you understand referral and affiliate marketing making money on YouTube becomes a lot easier. It really is as simple as finding things that people are looking for, and then leading them to the right company.
The company pays you, so you are happy. The customer gets their questions answered so they are happy. And the company gets a customer so they are happy.
It is a win win win.
Not everyone makes money with their YouTube videos, however.
If you don't do the right things, like writing the description, as I am doing now, or adding tags, like you see below. You have a much slimmer chance of ranking.
IF you don't rank, chances are you won't get found.
The other way you could do it is try to show up in other people's feeds as “related videos”.
I have seen many channels grow just by showing up in related videos.
